Do you guys think that senpai ever had sex prior to being with Morinaga?
I think that as a high school student he probably prioritized his studies so much that the thought never occurred to him. Also, he always had to watch his younger siblings due to his fathers work and mother’s death. With his intense focus on his research in his masters (or doctorates idk) he doesn’t have the time... however I do believe he has had sex before but it was probably while he was drunk.
To be completely honest I think that he's asexual, he has shown literally no interest in girls or guys in the entire series, and he's only homophobic because he was sexually assaulted so I think that before that he didn't even pay attention to that kind of thing. Also I think he still is asexual, he only started showing sign of actual attraction towards Morinaga very recently- so yeah, I think he's asexual which doesn't mean that he can't enjoy sex... more like he never probably thought of people in that way.

Yeah I agree I definitely think he is asexual but there are asexuals that have sex because of their partner. I hope we learn more of his backstory

I agree with you - but have you noticed that even though he verbally says “no” or don’t try anything - the author is showing or hinting that he is attracted to Morinaga (bath house scene).

Yeah, there's sexual tension between them for sure but at the bath house chapter, I think that he's just more aware of the fact that those types of situations usually led to sex, and he admitedly or not, enjoys having sex with him, so his arousal even at that point, in my opinion, is more connected to how he feels physically, I mean, I don't think he's aware that he's attracted to Morinaga at that point. But in the latest chapters he's definitely starting to understand that he does feel attracted to Morinaga, with how he talks about Morinaga's scent, dreaming about him, him saying "don't start what you can finish", he's definitely aware of what those words mean. (Also a good example of how he probably was just aware that he felt good when he had sex with Morinaga, and not that he was attracted to him before is the chapter where he's in Canada, he masturbates only remembering how Morinaga made his body feel and not exactly thinking about Morinaga.)

I think Tatsumi's probably actually demisexual. It's under the ace umbrella, but the person may develop sexual attraction after there is a strong emotional connection. Cause later on, he does instigate every now and again. Or get himself worked up just thinking about Morinaga.

I don’t think it has nothing to do with sexuality or the lack thereof. He’s a scientist, with no social skills whatsoever, that is engrossed with his own work. So these feelings that he’s feeling for the very first time is awkward for him which is why he’s assessing his feelings using the scientific method, questioning everything. You take a person who is a loner and introduce an extrovert in love with said loner, these things are bound to happen. Y’all just overthinking it.

There is an anime of Koisuru Boukun with 2 OVAs and a BLCD. You should give them a watch/listen! Tatsumi Souichi is voice by Morikawa Hikaru. He’s voiced other characters like Sakamoto from sakamoto desu ga and The main villain in season two of OPM.

Yeah I know I watched that ova many times lol it’s hilarious! But since I’m American and English is my first language, I naturally envision them with an American accent. Also I didn’t really like senpai’s voice in the ova, I felt as though it was too deep.
