That's kind of all I got as well. Honestly I think it's confusing bc if the story was going to try to talk about it being predatory and exploitative, it shouldve gone a bit deeper, I honestly don't think it was well done at all. It's portrayed very surface level as some sort of personal slight and like Yeowoon and Blondie are just being petty. I get showing not telling but I think a bit of telling would've been an improvement lol. Idk I really love the story overall though, just thought that could've been done better

all i understood was that mc was mad because mcqueen distributed his porn through cds but i don’t mean this in a rude way but isn’t it expected that they will distribute it as a porn company?????

I took it as McQueen knew the story was going to break and instead of warning Ed, he didn't do much but whisk him away and offered to support him while Ed's way of life/world imploded.
Blondie's betrayal may've been McQueen made money from him and he really didn't do much to help him until Ed came along, IMO.

This is why I like light novels/stories bc they will have more details that may be streamlined/omitted in the man/ga/hua/hwa

I thought Blond guy was hurt bc McQueen made him play a horrible role in a questionable movie about a rapist ? During his “this ain’t just porn this is art” era? Which was why Blond felt used even as a porn star …it might’ve been implied that McQeen made him portray an SA survivor a little bit too realistic …which is very yikes
