Idk who needs to hear this, but I am glad it was Jean that helped Mikasa moved on. He was a friend of them. He was someone who knew their history and would still be willing to accept Mikasa as she is. Some might say that he deserves better. Someone who can give their heart wholeheartedly to him. But the thing is, that's something out of his control. He chose to stick with Mikasa til the end. He chose to stick with her because he knew, more than anything, Mikasa needed a friend and more. Jean was willing to be those for her and that is something we need to recognize and applaud for.
