Define “normal”. People need to understand that coping and treatment is different for everyone. Some people need less convincing while other’s don’t. People experienced dreadful and unpleasant events on different degrees. Riftan’s is about literally surviving and Maxi’s is about growing her talent. This is why I asked you earlier to define “normal”. What’s normal to almost everyone might not be for him and her. He’s not the greenest flag rn for sure but Maxi’s not the best either. All i’m saying is, it’s not always because of one person or thing or past. It’s not a linear progress. So many ups and downs. I love them both because their struggles are so realistic as it really happens in the world, but instead of understanding this, people criticizes so much.

Everything should have been more graphic but they mellowed everything down. Not to mention the changed pacing and how the plot is unfolding. Dafakkkkkkkk
