I know I said I can understand Eunhyuk but doesn’t mean I tolerate that shit.
As much as I hate how the story is progressing right now, I know that IRL, people like Eunyhuk exist because I’m married to one. People who are afraid to speak up exist because they’re so fxcking afraid of messing things up, afraid of saying the wrong thing, afraid of getting blamed for ruining everything twice. They’re the kind of people who tried but failed and is now distant and afraid. And I hate it so much. So with my husband, we both learned how to compromise. That he can’t leave me alone with my explosive thoughts. That he needs to understand how anxious i can get if we don’t talk about the problem. And in return, I automatically give him time to think about things and that he needs to assure me that he will be back to talk about it.
So there’s compromise, understanding each other and assuring each other. (Soooo, after this ep 125 i guess now I know why I ended up more invested in this part of the story than the early arcs. Because i can relate.)
Right now, I can really see that Su Ae is willing to look past the hurt, give him a 2nd chance, and just talk about what happened 10 years ago whenever they’re both ready. She just wants to understand and know. But if Eunyhuk will not meet her halfway, yep, he can just replay the happy ending in his head forever. He needs to extend that hand too.
I bet the next episode goes like this

(Crying angrily)
Boy: ye u right
(Proceeds to let go and goes nonchalant)
Spend days not talking to each other but thinking about it. Then we will have to wait for a few more episodes for an another episode with real story updates/progression.

That was a cheap pathetic attempt at building romance between two ex lovers who drifted apart for 10 years. I wish there was depth. Liked the antics before because it was highschool, but now’s diff. They’re supposed to be different. It’s a 10 year gap. Why is it that the only Su Ae looks like the monkey in this circus? Give her some love Author. You’re embarrassing Su Ae. Ch. 89 was so painful to read. It broke my heart. Rape victims have so much trauma to bear by themselves. This is really so heartbreaking
Said it before, will say it again. Both them are red flags Hae Soo is the only person that deserves peace. Everyone else in the story is just nasty. The ex (abuser and a narcissist), current (manipulator - did you guys see how he smirked when Hae Soo misunderstood the situation calling him a gentle boy), the girl from Mincheol’s company (hoe). Oh but I do like the bodyguard tho. His priority is obvs his job but he does sometimes act like a moral compass somehow.
But to be clear, I’m not complaining. I’m just sharing what I think is the case. In fact, I’m curious because stories like these are usually written by a woman. But we have a male author here. So def got me interested how things will unfold.
For people deciding on whether to read this or not, read it. It’s not that bad. A seme that’s horrible, an uke that sucks ass real bad, SA and manipulation are common elements and themes in a BL story. They’re so fxcking common. Hell, if you look up most read stories unde yaoi/BL, you’ll see BJ Alex immediately. So don’t mind people crying about how bad it is. It’s an ok story.
Went straight to Ch 25 after reading Ch 81. I want the fluffy Kwon Ido. 1st timeline treatment just hurts to read (but cant help it obvi)
Not the alternate story, not cliff deserting, not edith and lize exchanging friendly letters…… I wish for the same art style from the first few chapters!!! IDK but since late ch 60’s the art style started to change. I really liked how pretty edith’s eyes were drawn and her facial expressions were all so pretty. Now, it looks like average manwha drawing. Sorry not sorry
I like this manga overall but Vol 4 is MEH. Side stories and non-existent problems branching out everywhere all of a sudden. Vol 1-3 were heavy on the main story progress. And with a lot of smut. Meh
