Can someone explain the scratches euphemism? I’m confused as to how it relates to reinhard and willhelm? Or is it referring to dulcinea
I think of it like cracks in foundation. Rein depends on her faith of Willhelm, so the scratches show up when doubts arise. And Dulcinea starts to "break" when she can't abuse someone (Willhelm) for the sake of coping better with the f-ed up prince.
