Anyone want to explain why the duke is apologising to a random child for being a bad father instead of his actual kids? And to be fair I'd be pissed too if I was working for someone as a financial advisor and they gave their personal checkbook to a CHILD. Whatf is with manhwa authors and making the most incompetent adults? ( ̄へ ̄)
Oh and no one in that family sees her as a random child. If even in her past life when they were less expressive with their feelings, they saw her as family enough that they wanted to make it official, random is even further from the current timeline. It could be the trope that Dad's are closer to their daughters.Or it could be that the oldest brother has had to mature quick with his dead mom, dying brother and withdrawn father all happening at the same time, being independent and pretty reserved strained tf out of their relationship. And the trope of an adopted sunshine sister/daughter to mend family wounds/communication is being employed here. *Shrugs*
"All of this chaos is for his amusement, I can't read him."
Girl, then don't. Focus on survival. You're blushing like a schoolgirl knowing damn well he said you have to act in love. Then just act like it and blatantly ignore it instead of constantly questioning it like you have the intelligence of a fucking fish holy shit.
Like this girly be testing my patience she was all good and then the instant the contract was made she just falls into generic FL #399298171588825839469127. Gping to continue to see how many more braincells she loses. :)

Like I was cackling through the first two chapters and just the perspective the women are drawn from but they dare to freak out over fetishization of gay men (fair but author, grow up?). Good to read if you want to learn how not to write dialogue.
The way women r drawn makes me wanna kms but i still read it bc i think its interesting enough
they draw everyone like that they’re just aura farming
