Omg, I read the 14th volumes in 24 hours ! It was one of the best romance I read ! I mean, I already read a lot of good romance-type of mangas. But this one is so different. Simple. Soft. And it's funny, but I can relate more to Akatsuki than Fumi. And I like the fact that I feel so close to a male character : it means he has a deep psychology. They have a very interesting relationship. I love it. A lot. (▰˘◡˘▰)
I feel Mafuyu so much.
The good thing is that he went to Akihiko, who's, in my opinion, always giving good advices (remember the chapter when he talked about sexual orientation with Uenoyama and told him it was alright to be gay, that there was nothing to worry about). He listens and takes good care. It'd be even better if Haruki could talk to Mafuyu too, because he is the big brother of the band, he's soft hearted and very kind. He cares a lot about Uenoyama and Mafuyu.
Only one chapter and I love it. All the metalheads I know are cute and sweet as teddy bears, and as a former gothic I know how much this "gloomy" appearance is in many way a wall we put between ourselves and others to feel safe. So I can feel that the metalhead in this manga is probably a very shy and reserved person, soft hearted and sensitive.
I see a lot of comments about Asahi's behavior : the topic of the mags and him talking about boobies and looking at women... and I wonder : Is there really something wrong with looking at someone else's beauty, having fetish for some body parts (let me remind you that this man is bi) ? What's wrong with having magazines to jerk off ? I mean, yes, when you have a relationship it means you have a partner and have sex with him but nothing says that you are not suppose to have your own personal pleasures or look at other persons and think they suit your tastes. It doesn't mean you are unfaithful. Being in a relationship, being in love and being happy with your special someone also means you can look at others and masturbate knowing that it's your secret garden and still cherishing the one you are going out with. Having fantasies is NOT a problem, even when you are in a relationship. What's wrong is trying to forbid your loved one to have this secret garden. A person never belonged to another. Asahi is very mature on this matter in my opinion. Masato feels insecure and is jealous. But Asahi is trying his best even if he struggles with a lot of things. But he doesn't want to make promises he can't keep. He doesn't want to be dellusional. But he still loves Masato a LOT. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I’m asexual; to me love and sex and separate things. So I agree with you. You can love someone with all your heart and that has nothing to do with sex. I think people, in fiction and in real life tend to forget that because it’s been so ingrained that love and sex and intricately linked. For the most part they are, but there are instances when they are not and that doesn’t make the love less valid.
Definitely ! We all have different sexualities and there are as many ways to love as much as there are people in world. People/society should stop to normalized everything !
It's all a matter of confidence in the couple - concerning our manga here, but irl in general too -, and how you respect your partner's personal life, including his personal pleasures.
Have a nice day ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

This isn't the manga by Riyoko Ikeda. Uploader probably mistook this version with Ikeda's version (and looking at the drawings, I wonder how). ╥﹏╥
