Obviously there are two.
I wish to see the full First Time Line because thats the shit!
You want sadness, misunderstanding, betrayal, tragedy, angst and trigger warning contents etc. it all seem to happen in the First Time Line.
God I wish the author would show it to us fully and not just some flashbacks
whatever software these BL Creator's been using they should've switch or at least be more creative. I only got back to reading Manhwas for merely recently and I've got to say, that fvcking 3D skycraper is so overused like.
anyway okay to cringey read, it's an easy to swallow BL Manhwa perfect for shallow readers.
that mother surely is not mothering.
Abandoned his family, put his son into a mental institute with an specific order not to treat him properly...
I'm surprised the MC & ML aren't that angry with her, that woman deserves a public humiliation at the very least and a complete restraining order with the MC.
the ML's a lil bit annoying too, his pride lead the uke to harm himself, if he just say 'I love you' and explain the situation honestly in the first place, the uke wouldn't have to suffer that much.
it's my first BL manhwa where I hate the MC more than the ML or at least dislike
I really really felt bad for the MC, his suffering is unmatched but deep in my brain is saying that half of all those things are because of his pride. All the ML wanted was to genuinely love him and tbh his words might hurt the MC's pride but he also know he didn't mean those ffs.
anyway this is a very well thought and written one! so yeah 8/10
the MC's naivety that lead to misunderstanding actually made some sense but the author failed to execute the MC's circumstances and his emotions correctly in the story which resulted to poor projection of the events or what's happening.
The MC's background actually is sad and the ML is his 'salvation' or at least would be the key for his mental improvement but then again due to poor execution, the story's main direction became unclear or ambiguous.
the author can't seem to decide which genre the story's direction would be. So in the end it resulted to it being tedious or flat.
some scenes are also cringey. Are they serious with 'kongkong' that's actually quite annoying, i imagine the author writing this while laughing and not taking the story seriously. I would get it if the whole thing was a unserious comedy but no.
kongkong nickname could slso be temporary until it is born but if that's really the case it's another outright evidence of poor writing, because it's so unclear.
An explosion of mixed feelings for all the characters. We have Anger and Sympathy for the both of them. The MC ultimately paid the price at the end which I guess could count as ML's Karma for all his cruelty.
but I guess most manhwa reader's are not ready for a tragic end, so now they proceed to show the ML's POV.
Interesting, nonetheless. Curious what's next or if there's any difference.
this is not a matter of liking or hating anymore the ML's already a psycho.
it's not about defending the ML or liking him. it's like hating on Patrick bateman as a character because he's a psycho.
Jennie has the best portrayal of mental regression overtime, her story despite a tragic one, is written realistically. It actually has a potential to be a standalone plot for a movie.
Though I must admit I'm very satisfied with the ML, I mean he got to beat all the shitty minor characters no? he's basically a satisfying trash of a character.
mid art which heavily relied on overblown 3D rendering from backgrounds to even as small as credit card...
mid characters. The MC's not a saint nor he got any ill intent. Yahwi's a trash. Cain's real name is Canis Lupus... like wtf fr?
the story's execution was weird. there's a lot of illogical responses from the characters. one example was when Jooin think that Cain having a 'plan' to get him was bad.
anyway, dropped.
im surprised this isn't genred as comedy. this legit made me laugh a little from time to time.
even funnier than BLs with Comedy genre on them.
the phasing was flawless and from the romance, angst, action, comedy everything was balanced. they even managed to squeeze the issue of parenting finely.
the art was slightly above average I think as they do not entirely rely on 3D renderings like most of manhwas.
now let's just wait for that garbage of a father to get whacked.
- Isn't it more logical and realistic if his anger was directed to Kyunsung instead? Just felt weird he thought of Aejoon a slut immediately.
- The misunderstanding was waaay to small to merit that effort he does just for that revenge. I mean are you gonna do the same level of effort when all you have was a small piece of information?
- Why is everyone gay?
this is SK, one of the most homophobic democracy on earth so just felt weird how open they are on that part in the story.
anyway it's an okay read. not bad not good etc.
korea should figure out how to properly make a short BL.
the only short BL manhwa that Ive read so far in which it was written finely is the 'Sheep's Mask' all every other are like this. horrible phasing, felt like rushed, cringey logic etc.
it's not a fluffy story nor a slice of life.
there's even no character development.
the art was good(except from that overused car 3d model lol)
If toxic relationship is their main direction, then I'm afraid it's written poorly.
also, having the story in the seme's POV just left a bad impression on me for the creator, it seems like they're somewhat justifying that shitty personality.
I know this is our cup of tea and oh boy the creator delivered.
but if you think of defending Jaekyung... go get yourself a psychiatrist.
Probably the most satisfying toxic BL Manhwa ever, I can't quite find the right wording but it just simply fulfill all your questionable tastes. kekeke.
and It's satisfying because every shitty actions are not left out without any retaliation, emotionally or physically from both the major characters and for the side characters.
well of course the story and some scenes are 18+ but the way this was written genuinely feels like I'm reading a children's book.
The Synopsis was great and for a BL Manhwa, the art is quite good. But the story was rather disappointing…
From the initial to 40+ chapters; the story just felt stagnant. There’s also a huge jump in the story from time to time which is weird and doesn’t compliment with the story at all. this is where I think why it feels lacking overall.
The story also kind of leans towards mystery but even the story’s direction isn’t clear. Unpredictability is great for a story but only if executed flawlessly, not on this however…
The creator could’ve have also polish the character’s background & emotions because the only clear emotions we can see are with the ML, not even the MC.
If the the chapters started during when they were in highschool, it would be a trainwreck for us. we will see the start of Yoon & Taejoo's love.
it's already a sad one and they did a good execution to show it but imagine we have seen more of their love before and Taejoo's struggle during those 5 years.
Overall, it's a satisfying story but I just can't help to still feel bad for Taejoo, Yoon was his world and his half and he was taken advantage of by Youngwoo. I mean, Youngwoo could help and comfort Taejoo without wanting to be fucked. 5 years is too much, yes. but it's not surprising to think Youngwoo was a huge influence to Taejoo, basing on his attitude and his desperatation he could've gaslighting Taejoo at that time too.
yall rate everything high if its colored. it's just frustrating to see half-assed stories gets 9+ while this one, despite delivering what it has inteded got too much critism in the comments.
the characters are well... childish. but it's already an unserious story to begin with. it's an easy to swallow basic comedy, and kudos for the creator for making it clear and be consistent with it.
it's format, despite being a webtoon is actually easy for the eyes and I would take B&W over half baked flat coloring anytime.
I also like how the phasing is downright straightforward, it's not skipping anything nor it has anything unnecessary.
Good Plot & Direction but with poor to adequate execution.
the art is what you'd expect from a BL Manhwa & characters are okay with no infuriating characters (cheers to that!)
I said poor execution as there's a lot of scenes and chapters where it could really hit your emotions but they did a poor job at doing it.
