I was rereading the first chapters since I'm kinda obsessed with the story itself and I can confirm that behaviour and flashbacks of recent chapters it's not something that appeared out of nowhere. Since the beginning he was possessive and lowkey a stalker towards Suha, even in the first flashbacks we got (which one of them was explained in recent episodes).
And tbh I kinda see why he's like that, since he was a child he was always abandoned by people, pushed to the side, worked up to the max and never having his efforts appreciated. He never had something or someone to call his, it was always for others, he could never open up, otherwise the grandma would go off on Jiwoon. Until he met Suha, the only person to ever see him.
And his abandonment issues that were bottled up are being even more aggravated because of all the shitty things the redhead caused in so many episodes, trying to steal Suha away and making threats.
That doesn't mean what he's doing now is correct, of course. But damn it's so sad seeing how Jiwoon's eyes doesn't shine anymore in the recent chapters... I wanna see them happy, they don't deserve all this suffering.
