The romance isn't romancing angel is essentially in love with remilia's mask not her true self and remilia only loves him bc he loves her mask there is a case to be made that the mask is remilia still bc we get glimpses of her truly being kind but I needed angel to have witnessed her evil side and still love her what's the point of him being a demon if he's not into evil smh
Unpopular opinion: I actually felt a strong ick that she said yes to marrying him. I strongly believe she doesn't even like him. She sure likes the idea of him falling for her idea of the girl that died but that's it. The revenge was great but her obsession for the original transmigrated girl is not it (ー_ー゛)
It’s so bad why are we now doing “hinge” norio with the mermaid connection as soon as they started the mermaid timeline it was over bc it didn’t make sense and still doesn’t. The story would’ve been more complete if they just kept it about norio being desired for his recessiveness and kunimasa dealing with his family to be with him.

Totally agree!! I felt so betrayed, after waiting for a long time for updates, then BAM! Adding more confusion to the story and more unnecessary drama from cheating to random SA violence!
For me, Kunimasa is always hard to read. His character is inconsistent (after you think he have character growth, next thing he's unreadable again) specially whenever he went to talk with the monk-looking person.
