One thing that bothers me is that Trashta and Angela were results of abuse and mental illness... It's true that no one is born evil and that enviroment and upbringing are major factors forming a personality.
But I also feel uncomfortable that the origins of the villains due to mental traumas because I suffer from depressions and personality disorder.
I believe IRL people are bad because they raised spoilt rotten or following stupidly toxic harmful ideologies. People with mental illness are mostly harmless, helpless and victimized.
I am glad there are stories about abused MCs slowy recovering from their pain until they are empowered: EBONY, "The Monster Duchess" and "Like A Wind On A Dry Branch"
You know the sad thing about these two Villains from low status they could have been safe,if only they stopped their schemes in time when they were on top instead of keep attacking the MCs.
