I also exactly am not sure of the relationship, if u are talking about black(?, you mean blue, right) then he is the ML and he knows the black cat only because if you read the chapters carefully & avoided simply skimming that Wang Yi was a system of the ML, but they had feelings for each other which a host and a system isn't supposed to have (atleast that's what I recall) for unknown reasons or maybe the main system (red in colour) is fearing an imbalance, so it deleted Wang Yi and ML still has his memories but it got scattered in the process of searching for his lost system....as for the cat....
In the past, Wang Yi protected it (age unknown) when it was still a newborn system and as it had an animal form, it wasn't deleted. And in that process, it also might have known the ML for a certain period of time. In the current plot arc, due to the presence of the main system, Wang Yi's memories were removed at first (he obviously consented about that part) then he later recalled them back in order to act better since unknown variables kept appearing. On the other hand, the ML acting as the capture target has yet to recall everything, he did see the cat but didn't communicate with it.
If u want, read the plot from the beginning again, I liked this so I read it about 3-5 times, the above plot is only from my understanding, also some Chinese words Don'T translate properly in English, so read some of the official chps. and compare which is better.
Thank for explaining, I did try and read it all , I don't normally skim unless it's jinx lol - the second hand embarrassment is getting to me. but i kept getting confused. I actually would like to hear and theories you might have for this! like what and where exactly the main system is and how what will happen once he's reached his goal? will it be so that the accident with the bus never took place...that is how he got into this whole thing witht he system in the first place right ?

Unfortunately, there is no novel for this, it's an original manhua or something, so raws may or may not be available. Yeah, it does have second hand embarrassment at times and about Main System...it reminded me of a slightly similar plot, if u like this type of plot, u will like that story as well. Try Global Examination if you want. There's a novel for it and well... it's awesome.
It also has system type plot but the info is slightly dense so u need to read it carefully. Let me search for that one title which I mentioned, I always forget it.
'Don't pick up Boyfriends from the trashbin'(or trashcan whichever) is very good as well. Suggestion to read the novel version as some parts in the manhua aren't present. I won't spoil too much, just that ML is non-human and they have a lot of interesting interactions

Okay so for me it was kinda obvious that it was happy death day type of stuff, i get why some people didn't get it tho , i was hunting for the answer lol.
So my theory is Seme is in a time loop and the trigger for the time loop is our MC. Now Why is seme the one who remembers everything when MC is trigger? idk. IF you remember the first chapter our MC woke up from a nightmare where he was being chased by a zombie, I do think this was a previous memory of how he might have died the last time or smt. So maybe every reset loop, he's remembering more? Im actually surprised we have not see a loop happen yet, but i have a feeling it's going to happen soon and we'll get to see seme's pov. I do wish we kinda knew which department seme was in, cause if it's science then....oop O.o ..... I also do think Seme liked our MC before the whole time loopy thingy they just never really got to hang out? maybe he admired him from afar idk.

the reason why the seme is the one experiencing time loops is because he’s the one who caused the zombie apocalypse. He is in the science department and it started from a lab accident that seme caused. Uke is the cure to the zombie apocalypse, so that’s why it loops every time because the cure becomes nonexistent, and everyone will die. Seme is basically tasked w saving uke since he caused this, but has failed various times as shown in the story. Seme actually hated uke at first because he had to keep dying and was forced to save him to survive. This is the time loop where they fall in love with each other, but their relationship was rocky in other ones.
