I really liked it. Quite captivating story and art. Highly recommended.
I have opposing feelings about this one. She wasn’t enslaved by a man in particular. Just many circumstances lead her to that point, to get engaged in the relationship which was bound to be broken. First of all I accuse her weakness. Happy that she mustered up all the courage and went with the way which would bring her happiness.
She was doing housework for a man she didn't want to marry. She even states that she doesn't want to get married and that she's only marrying him for her mother's sake. She's performing her duties as a wife out of obligation and societal pressure. Of course, her husband cannot be blamed for this at all, but for her it must feel like she's a slave - working without pay out of fear that she'll be socially ostracised .
I want Ed to lead a kind of life without any sense of guilt. He really deserves it :(
Damn. I’m sure she resembles many of us. I am so caged up with people’s expectations and preferences don’t even know what I truly like or desire.
SUCH A BAD HABIT OF YUN KOUGA, LEAVING US HANGING. IT HAD A POTENTIAL BUT WENT OVER TRACK AND OFF FROM THE MAIN STORY LINE. I STILL LOVE IT SO MUCH, THO.
Story was itself quite confusing in some ways, but that made it extremely interesting and deep.
It’s developing in somewhat cute way, so.. I’m afraid. It’s Harada after all.
