I love them more when there's a chapter about hotsuma told yuki that shuusei was a girl as well as hotsuma's wife in the past. He even told everyone that he was planning to have a kid with Shuusei but failed.

Uh.. i don't quite get it about this 'new home' and why they got scared all of sudden? Mine to explain?
Because they realized something bad was happening to the third kid in each room that didn't get the farewell party. That kid would just quietly disappear. And when they investigated and followed the latest kid, they saw him being taken away be some very scary looking adults. As Sam had hypothesized, there are bad homes that don't plan to raise the kid (but have other uses for them). Unfortunately, the raws prove my guess as to why they'd only take the meek, quiet kids :(
