I kinda dislike that though :( It makes it seem like lineage is actually important. I liked Aria triumphing as a commoner with dubious origins because that undermines the idea of class superiority. Why can't a commoner have a magical ability? I'm sure the story will still be good, but I would have been happy if the father's identity remained unknown or unimportant.

I get what're you saying, but I don't think anyone as long as they're royalty can have powers like these, and not anyone can inherit it, so it's not like they have these powers cuz they're from royal families but because they deserve to have it, and I agree with you on the father's identity, I feel like I don't wanna see his face ( ̄へ ̄)
