i was just curious why yoru suddenly used a moray eel devil here, so i searched if war and moray eels had any kind of connection and tbh, it kinda makes sense. moray eels hide in dark places and strike when you least expect it, kinda like how war can be quiet at first before it actually hits. plus, yoru living inside asa feels similar to that hidden danger vibe moray eels have fun fact tho, there was actually a u.s. navy submarine called uss moray back in world war ii. so maybe the choice of a moray eel wasnt totally random after all or maybe fujimoto just felt like it lol. you never really know with him
grief is a long process. the author clearly wants us to experience the grief of the mcs together, if you can't handle it you can drop the series. but just know that it will eventually get better, so stay if you can.
Good point, I feel the same. Like it hurts but it’s refreshing to see a manga deal with grief and everything they went through. Therapy sorta and breathing space, time to heal.
