The latest raw is 34 in comic walker while the latest raw somewhere else is 35. The chapter 38 here was supposed to be chapter 31. You can even see the chapter numbering on the 1st page.

The anime adaptation looks good that got me interested to eventually read the source material. The anime watchers hated the MC for treating the clingy queen like that, which is unfortunate since the story is good and so far there's no harem (there's no really need for it, just casual gaming/adventuring is enough for these type of stories).
I mean I'll side the MC for his actions about it since he's a real level headed ossan that don't want to be tied to any troublesome commitment/authorities and just keep adventuring like Mukoda from campfire cooking anime which I really like the direction of the story to remain as that.
Is it tribute to upcoming halloween? It's so scary and the timing of the manga update near halloween date as well (⊙…⊙ )
Don't compare yourself to Pace, he's wise because he lived for around 20-30+ years in total (if you'll count his life before his reincarnation).

Well it's not without his consent to be engaged though, but rejecting it would prove to be more problematic so he agreed.

They have cliché problem of not communicating the important words but it doesn't hinder much since it got resolved eventually. There are some love rivals but it's not dragged out as well for drama's sake.
Why does the author's other work don't get posted here (since it's mentioned inside the chapters she have some other works released, even at the same time).
