First of all, before reading this yall have to read "Ringo, Ki Kara Ochiru" specifically the 4th story as it's the first part of their story, but I'll give a short resume: seme pretends to be a former classmate of the uke, a kid who used to piss himself and get help from uke all the time. Uke is actually the bully one in the first part, he tries everything to make the seme the loser of class but he fails all the time and when he finally finds out that the seme was just a stranger instead of the piss-boy he gets mad and seme sees an opportunity to take advantage of uke and finally become the bully that we see in this volume. Here, what happenes its simple: seme was gay this entire time and uke was prob gay too, they liked each other even tho is a hella toxic relationship but seme is an asshole by nature and uke used to be quite the popular kid so he has his limits, seme felt "accepted" while uke hugged him and never thought he would be rejected like that, that's why he gets shocked, he asks the uke why he pulled him closer like that and the author answers the question with the cactus picture, the fact that it was uncrumpled means that uke also likes him and thats it! ╮(￣▽￣)╭ if you're familiar with sensei works you know that she was very dramatic and had a unique style of storytelling so that's why it might be confusing, but do read the first part, otherwise you won't get their personalities and character correctly

That is a huge generalization to make, tbh. There are adults who sleep around casually and there are adults who don't. Some of us view sex as an intimate act and do not just do it with anyone. I don't think vast majority of people view men as pure virgins because men are always shown to be hypersexual (which I think is harmful but that's a conversation for another day) and I also hate how gay men/amabs are always depicted to be sluts and are expected to act like one even in our own community. Non hypersexual gay men are always stuck in a limbo of having to engage in that culture or be alone. It's not exactly a positive for us.
