I'd argue it's the opposite....taki despite his looks is more dominant and more initiative. As you can see from the chapters before. And also from shingo himself assuming he'd be the bottom. And sexual position preference has nothing to do with looks. Taki just prefers being the bottom. Im sure if this was any other manga he'd be the seme seeing how he's shown as being so bold, pushing the seme down and what not

And shingo doesn't seem opposed to the idea of bottoming either. Switches exist. They likely won't switch though but that in itself is huge. Most mangas have very fixed ideas on who the seme and uke should be. I'd argue you're doing the same. Bringing this down to "tough looking Yankee" bottoming. That trope isn't uncommon anymore. And Taki doesn't have soft features at all. Shingo has softer and rounder features. It's just that he dresses and carries himself a certain way. Sorry for yapping but this comment just rubbed me th wrong way so I had to comment. Imo it's a very shallow way to rate a dynamic. I don't think you know what a dynamic is. It's how two or more characters' personality fit together. Their dynamic is really good. You just don't like the fact that the one you wanted didn't bottom.
