Do the translations get better at some point? I like the story, but I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of aspects of it. Considering dropping.
Btw, this is not me trying to take a dig at the translator (bless you translator for trying in the first place), just asking so that I can decide whether or not to keep reading.

I think it's not a linear story because it follows Maybelle's perspective (she only understands little about the world), based on my own MTL, Maybelle will slowly learn about the root of problems around her much later (near the end of the season).
i.e ;l the explanation about the covenant which binds Rykell and co. will come much later (in ep 37-38 and ep 45-end of the season), and Maybelle heard about Rykell being the "former family head" in the party.
I agree with you, there are a truckload of things missing in the first half of the story.... and it's not helping that Rykell doesn't want to force Maybelle to do anything XD.

So I know that Meili is supposed to be a naive country bumpkin, but so far his mental state seems to be that of a 4 year old. (Read 16 chapters so far.) It's so bad that it's actually pretty off-putting. Does he mature/grow much (aka become less of an idiot) throughout the series?

yeah, i think i got to around ch.40 ish last year before i said fuck it he’s too annoying i’m dropping this. he’s literally incapable of thinking for himself, and is way too dependent on the buff white hair dude, sooha i think?
anyway, i just went back and read the last chapter, and to me i can’t see that he grew that much, but at the same time i just skipped over 100chapters so ¯_(ツ)_/¯ but from what i read i’m assuming he’s gonna be a cry baby for a majority of the series

So first off, I really liked this story. I would love to see more chapters.
However, I'm low-key (okay, maybe high-key) worried for Haru. For the last chapter or so I was praying for some sort of scene where Haru was outside of the apartment, preferably out making happy memories with lots of other people around.
I can't shake the feeling that Haru might not see anywhere other than that apartment for the rest of his life, which would make me really sad for poor Haru who needs more positive experiences with people.

I mean he did agree when Renji asked him.. But I don't think Renji would prevent him from going outside plus Haru doesn't have good memories in making friends or being with other people.. He's pretty awkward and timid when encountering other people which probably resulted from the isolation he received when he was young so when he answered, he probably didn't care about meeting other people.. Renji won't prevent him from going out though but maybe with se security guards or himself
1. What is this story about?
2. In my search for a summary I saw a lot of people complaining about the chapters being out of order and season 1 not being finished yet. Did this get sorted out?
Uhdjajjd I haven’t read this in a very long time but the whole basis is the red haired girl, (Rou xi...I think that’s her name)that’s kinda a delinquent, transferred to the silver haired girl’s (uhhhh Yi Lin I think) school. They then start hanging out and fall in love. I’d say it was pretty slow paced but it’s pretty good. The whole thing about the chapters, from what I understand, is that the scanlators didn’t translate this anymore since it was licensed under Webcomics (Oop- they would get into legal trouble if they get caught now) which is an app that can legally translate it with the author’s permission. Btw, you can read the first season free on Webcomics, but many people flocked to here when people had to use gems to unlock season 2’s episodes (according to the app, the author requested it). Also, the legal translation has not caught up with the scanlations. Hope this helps!ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I would also like to add that it only starts to pick up pace (as in the spoicy stuffs ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ ) in season 2 which is why I said it was “slow paced.”
Thank you so much for the reply!
Np, happy to help!
