I love this manga, I love the novel just as much. But i hate every single fucking character…
except penelope and blondie. Now i dont know where in the novel i stopped exactly but If there is one thing I can say for certain it’s that I wouldn’t mind the entire eckhart family dying in a housefire, the w(b)itch yvonne included. I hated the entire coming of age ceremony arc and the aftermath!!!!! I just want to scream at everyone. I had to put my phone down because it’s not good for my mental health, the constant hot and cold attitude due to stupid preconceptions and brainwashing ugh. the only sane one is ironically the batshit crazy prince who everyone fears? But anyways please someone tell me if prince blondie does something wrong as well???

Nah batshit crazy prince is good lmao he's actually the only good character here. He doesn't do anything really bad except making stupid mistakes because of how he grew up, he's just pretty dense and clueless about feelings.

Daddy Eckhart said penelope should have a good time at her coming of age ceremony and really intended for her to be the main focus so he postponed announcing Yvonne’s return, but the black haired brother barges in halfway through with yvonne at his side like “she deserves to be in this celebration too. She’s family” yada yada. Thats not the best part :D apparently ‘someone’’(yvonne) poisoned the wine, i havent read the chapter in a while so it gets foggy here- either yvonne wanted to drink the wine she poisoned herself to frame penelope with an attempted murder or just intended to kill penelope, but Penelope knew that the wine held poison. she gave a whole speech basically welcoming yvonne into the family, exposing her identity, smiling and ladida (“now you have your daughter back, you dont have to care for fake goods anymore, arent you so happy” was the energy it was giving). I was so scared that Penelope had lost her mind, she drank the wine threw up blood and passed out. Prince charming blondie was the inly one who acted as soon as she fell and held her bloody figure while shouting at everyone which is crazy, you’d expect the dad to jump in first lmao but anywho she wakes up and everyone blames her for “causing a scene for attention” and she’s basically done with the whole family atp. Waiting for the illustrated version of events so my blood pressure can rise all over again :))
Oh yes forgot to mention, everyone BUT blondie blames her. i believe the prince called them all crazy? maybe i’m wrong and it was just me projecting my thoughts :(
It's real. That's why he's the only good one out of this. Even in her death when people still doubted her, he's still the only one fully on her side when she can't defend herself. He's also the most worried, man is fully prepared to kms if Pene really leaves.
