A whore is a word that sometime back, society or rather the patriarchy came up with to shame women who had the audacity to act progressive like having a lover, being attractive, or wearing something short, being smart or anything that men deemed the opposite of submissive (and yes it can also mean 'prositute' in the literal sense). The sad thing is men can be the same and do the same things and be a 'player' or handsome, successful, leader... In the old days people could burn women who were "weird" or into learning, plants, medicine, healing or just someone independent a WITCH.
A better word for the black lotus would be vile, evil, villainous or something that isn't gender specific that defines the subject better, not just a word that is still used to demean women...

the original cinderella gets bullied by her step step sisters and step mother, she eventually sneaks out with the help of the fairy godmother and makes it to the ball where she meets the prince. Once the clock strikes 12 she had to dip and lost one of her glass shoes, the prince uses it to find cinderella because apparently she was the only one who could fit in them.
