I don't think I've ever read such a rapey feeling manga. I'm not talking the usual rapey yaoi stories that are so common these days, I'm talking actual sickening rapey vibes. I don't know if it's the disgusting storage room, the clearly underage high schooler, the naiveness of the uke, the no consent, the wording of "toy," or the the fucked up morals taught by the sister bc this one makes me kind of sick from the start. Like I kind of feel dirty but then again this is just my personal feeling so.
I'm sorry I apologize if this sounds rude, but why did you read it then? If you don't like reading it or feeling uncomfortable reading it then it's very simple to not read it. Also there are plenty of ukes that look like they are younger than they actually are. The person that updated the manga had warnings that this had rape in it.
I read it and this is my review lol, I thought it would get better (it probably will) and things would start going well bc usually I wait it out, but it was just the feeling this manga left me was sickening. Like I'm someone who is pretty desensitised to it but idk this one just rubbed me the wrong way. Personal experience.. everyone is diff ig. It's not that much the rape itself bc usually rape is dubcon (where they enjoy it in the process) but this one I dont even think mc likes it. We never really look deep into what he's thinking, were kinda guided/narrated through the semes friends at the bar (club?).

Ok but you obviously don’t like it, don’t read it obviously knowing you don’t like rape stuff? People who will go through reading this won’t leave a bad rev bc it contains rape. Mostly will go off of the plot or something, but your review like yeah I respect it but don’t complain abt it when there’s a disclaimer. but like for ex. myself I do enjoy these type of yaoi’s because it is my coping mechanism.
I also hope it will get better. I do have to admit that it was a bit weird to me in the first chapter that the uke just brushed it off like it was nothing. Though I hope everything works out for them both, as in the romantic feelings will develop more for the uke, since it only seems that the seme is the one developing the feelings more.
There’s a warning of rape tho. I know it’s not a cup of tea for many of you. But some appreciate reading this. I like it. Just reading it as entertainment among many other types of yaoi. This doesn’t mean that I’m a rape supporter. That's just sick. I absolutely don’t agree with non consent sexual engagement in real life.
I don't why nobody is interpreting my replied comment correctly.. I've stated I am usually one to tolerate rape or dubcon stories. This review of mine was not to talk about how bad rape in these yaoi mangas are but to express how this particular manga made me feel despite me not having a large problem with rape. I've read the reviews, I've read the disclaimer, what I am saying is this is the first manga to truly make me feel sick. I don't think a lot of you understand how media and literature can affect the way people think & approach certain topics. Y'all can speak about separating fiction from reality but in reality these things do in fact affect you whether you realise it or not. Normalising, glamorising and romanticising rape in these yaoi mangas (when its not needed) desensitises you from the serious topic of rape. How do y'all think dictatorships in history influenced their citizens? Propaganda was a very powerful weapon that influenced the masses. They used communication that is primarily used to influence an audience and further an agenda, which may not be objective and may be selectively presenting facts in order to encourage a particular group. I'm not saying these yaoi mangas are propaganda im not addressing the blatant normalisation of rape in Japanese media. Lets also not talk about the Japanese legal age of consent too.

Yes exactly and I think your view changes after you grow up. I loved reading Yaoi and didn't mind the rape when I was younger and now that im older, hell im an adult, I can't find myself enjoying it just because I feel like I've read TOO much of it and I dont think that it's healthy. I'm glad the times are changing though, that's why its great more people are speaking up about these issues (like us), nobody should silence these people speaking up because without them rape would be an ongoing trope in Yaoi media.
