Dayeol could tell he was rejected by the look on Taehyun's face. That's not because Taehyun doesn't like him. Taehyun doesn't believe he is worthy of being loved. He was rejected by his family and still feels the guilt over what happened with his mother. Although he is always joking around with his friends Taehyun is still dealing with depression and possibly suicidal thoughts.

Watching all these Leo & Taehoon scenes and the mess Leo makes every time made me wonder about his time as King of the Village. How many kids does Leo have running around out there? How many people in the modern age are Leo's descendants? I know a lot of the women were abusing it, but that was the reasoning behind the position existing in the first place.
Leo was forced to be the KotV for years and is pretty old. So, have we met any of his kids and just don't know it?

This mother is using every type of emotional manipulation she can. From "you won't know if you don't try" to "you must want me to get sick and die." I know that it is prevalent, especially in certain parts of the world. However, everything she is saying and doing is emotional manipulation and emotional abuse. She is using all the same tricks that an abusive spouse or lover would, but doing it as a mother. The last line of "if you leave don't ever come back" is the worst one and it's something that is almost unforgivable. She is telling her son that if he doesn't go against his nature to do what she wants, then she can't love him and doesn't want him. Unforgivable coming from a parent!
