this would have been really good since the story is actually interesting however i don't think the delivery/story-telling was done right the rape and psychological issues are somewhat realistic but the cohesiveness of the story is obviously lacking so the important scenes didn't really do much impact to me even the part when they revealed the twist is also kind of me i didn't really connect with the characters that much bc they feel hollow and i can't get a hold of the emotions that most of the scenes is supposed to convey my first impression of this was really bad i rated this 1/5 stars i thought it was overdramatic and random in the first chapter i have to say my opinion of this has gotten much better it's around 2.5-2.75 stars now for me i will surely purchas this one and support the author i can see the potential maybe their editor wasn't just being serious

Thank you. I’v been always saying this. It’s not fair how fetishized gay stories are and how normalized rape is. You can’t just magically end two characters up together when one of them literally raped the other after just a chapter or so. It doesn’t work like that, it would take years and lots of chapters for the victim to heal again and forgive the person. Yet most of the time the victims forgive the person but still hold a distance. It would’ve been better if the rape experience was portrayed as a trauma and not a relationship building tool or whatever because it’s absolutely weird and just super unnatural. I hoped he would’ve gotten with another person who would treat him right, respect his boundaries, and help him heal/ get over it.

Dont expect too much when you read BL manga.Indeed, most of BL mangas romanticized rape .If you had read a lot of mangas ,you will notice it so you cant blame.Thats how manga industry usually works so.
If you dont like this kind of writing,you shouldnt read BL (most of BL mangas are like that) So i recommend you to read Yuri manga or manga with flufgy tag)

i think given that they have published a book means that they are already considered as a professional not just one that is aspiring to be or an amateur i know a lot of authors who have made such excellent debut works such as kuraka sui's itou-san it's a dark-themed BL and the delivery is just perfect so i believe it's not about having experience or not at all
also i did not imply in my comment or in any of my replies that reading something that features rape is the same as fetishizing it. what i said was that the story itself romanticizes rape and the only concern i have which involves the readers is the rating. i simply cannot believe how this story can get 9.1 stars when there are so many good mangas out there in this site that have the same rate or even lower and it also had to be something that involves rape and adult/minor content without depth and purpose which is one of my peet peeves as a fujoshi. i don't think ive said anything that is considered as disrespectful towards the author because i am only criticizing this work in particular. being critical about something doesn't mean that im taking their hard work lightly and that i do not respect them as a person and as a mangala.
