Why on earth are they making him clean in the first place? Even though he may be getting paid its essentially child labour. The Palace doesn't need that sort of thing. Obviously they can't let him free load but it be better to give tasks appropriate for a child, like being chloe's butler, but with less task and more of a playmate
In my opinion i Don't see cleaning as child labour, when i was young my mum would ask me and my siblings to clean the house, something we got pocket money sometimes we didn't. Also Theo is in a nice environment where he is not beaten given a comfortable place to stay and good food
Considering he was a child slave not so long ago, I dknt think it's the same. Why not send him to school and have him become and imperial scholar or something? Remember he's 10, and there's no other children in the Palace, so to him if he stops cleaning, they'll kick him out. Even if your parents ask you to clean up they won't kick you out if you don't, especially not as an 10 year old. I just think they could have had him do other stuff then clean as a child for a living
they have slaves in this setting, what is child labour? the setting of this manga is obviously not modern, and while for us modern people is might seem like a bad thing, a while ago, for a child to work was not a bad thing but an opportunity for that child. the time this story is set in were they still use carriages and fight with swords, child labour is not very mind boggling to be honest. Modern or not I think child labor is kinda wrong. Even the maids aren't as young as theo. It would be a different story if theo wasn't taken in with chloe. If theo was working somewhere or was taken in a normal family that aren't nobles then house chores for the family would be alright.
I won't lie, I like her love of money. But you don't have to ruin people's lives for it, there's definitely some single CEOs so why not take them? And returning to the past to get with a guy you don't even like? It's not guaranteed he'll be rich again. It's too bad her character is fundamentally messed up, it would be nice to see a redemption arc for once
Honestly idk bout this move from a storytelling stand point. You're telling me she got swayed by one meeting, believed everything he said and despite being with the duchess for so long, did not question anything he said? To be a personal maid you straight up can't be this stupid. And surely the whole point of her being betrayed is so we can see her hurt but she gets character development. But right now she doesn't seem to be effected. Hoping for more otherwise it was a weird mood to bring more drama in. Gaspal isn't that smart so I don't get why she (Sally) stayed with him. He's great and making his only supports hate him

???? what... on her seventh life that was her breaking point and final straw, she was soft because she had hope they would change or at least be different in her seventh life but when they failed to fulfill her expectations nor show any affection she got her revenge leaving behind any emotions for them, killing them before eventually killing herself as well
her seventh life is the life her brother asked her to die. she went under the guillotine and used her powers to save herself hence the short hair while killing off her family w a smile (as she should). it took my girl seven deaths to get her first dub but that's she's been taking zero losses in her 8th life (AS SHE SHOULD). such a queen.

I feel like this chapter made me dislike her more. So she wasn't just an idiot, she knew what she was doing yet never bothered to help the victims? No I'm not expecting her to buddy up with MC but she didn't have to drag her name through the mud and humiliate her for ages, make it quick and move on - steal her fiance and keep it moving. At least me a good villain
