Aside from them being the main couple and the inevitability of it all, I thought the author made it pretty clear how Kim Dan fell for Jaekyung. Jaekyung comes in direct and gives him a job when he was one paycheck away from being homeless. He then saves him from getting r*p*d, gives him housing, feeds him and nurses him back to health. Then proceeds to pay his debt off and his grandma's hospital bills. Jaekyung even plays nice with his grandmother. Not to mention lets Kim Dan keep her wedding furniture in his house. And their physical intimacy has also increased even more so as well. Yes they didn't start off in an ideal circumstance and Jaekyung is an ah but he is Kim Dan's ah, lmfao.
The uke is autistic. The seme starts out as a bit of an asshole but he gets better and treats the uke nicely. The novel is pretty short and ties up nicely.

You can see that the author intentionally drew Heeseung and Potato as the opposite of Jaekyung and Kim Dan. Their intro-interaction with each other was purposeful too. Once Heeseung stops pining after Kim Dan, he's going to definitely get with Potato lol.

Jaekyung has 100% caught feelings for Kim Dan and the dude is much more in denial than the latter. He's also extremely possessive of him as well. Remember, he's an absolutely discipline and focused guy. However, Kim Dan was just having an innocent chat with YoonGu and that had him breaking away from his workout and snatching Kim Dan so fast away from the poor lil clueless fellow.
He also wouldn't let Kim Dan go on the out of town match with the other guys. Lowkey claimed him by stating Kim Dan lives and cooks for him as well. XD Paid almost all his debts so that Kim Dan really can't leave him too. Also made him live with him when he could've left him to fend for himself, thrown him to a team mate or easily help him with another place to live. The debt arrangement is really just a pitiful excuse at this point.
The new guy is obviously going to be much more of a threat, and it's going to so much fun to see a more upfront green-eyed Jaekyung. Ha!
