Hmmmm, just my opinion but, if in the story there's this "childhood first love/childhood friend to crush", it's like they always WIN. Given with the amount of flashbacks, they are like the cues of being endgame.
I struggled with getting over my childhood crush too, and I CAN and MOVED ON SUCCESFULLY, BUT ofc mc in stories CANNOT. Because that would be more romantic, story wise :(( ofc not irl :(
I know ppl (including me) will support Henry with Seth, bcs it's more rational irl. But, measuring fictional story with real life just doesn't fit well.
As fiction, I think the ending is satisfying (minus the lack of closure with Seth), because from what the plots have built, Henry ending up with Sam was where they lead to. It'd have been feeling incomplete and lacking in plot if henry ended up with seth. Plus it fits very well from the aesthetic side too. Tbh, in story (just in the story), the idea of finding each other after being separated with a lot obstacles and finding true love is SO satisfying for me. Ofc, it's different irl where life is more complex.

- Waaaah at first, I thought that the tiger might want to kill the mc bcs his life is ruined and he's envious of the mc's life in another dimension, so he can 'steal' mc's life.
- Now, with the game, what a plot twist!! I think it has a looot to do with why tiger wants to kill the mc or the reason why he's there. Like, how if the way tiger's gonna "kill" him is only by removing him in the game?
- BUT isn't it creepy to think that the whole life mc had was created by the tiger ... like?? which one is the "real" world here?
- And I'm lowkey afraid of the polar bear and the game, like ... it has the whole spoky vibe??
I don’t think it makes sense that tiger wants to steal his life tho bc the MC’s life is pretty shitty compared to tiger’s. No gf, parents always fight, and still in school. Idk it’s all weird and I wanna no where tiger is at. He doesn’t seem like the types of person like polar bear to let a game take over his life.

Heck, I'm slow af it takes me 78 chapters that Love or Hate is a non-linier story.
I was wondering why the authors needed to bring flashback in chapter 71-74, when everything was already known, or at least hinted in the present story. I thought it was unnecessary, but it makes sense now.
So, Love or Hate actually has two story, their story in the past and in the present. And both keeps unrevealing, and moving progressively towards the future, non-linearly. That's why the flashback revealed in order. From their first meeting until now (in chap 78), when they "reconnected". So now we're expecting both what happened in the past, and what will happen in the future<333
Idk, usually non-linier story used to fix things in the past, so I'm pretty sure that Joowon will be endgame, except the authors make a plot twist.
Plus, the authors seem like cinematic parallels. In chapter 50-51, while Haesoo and Taku having s*x, Joowon was reminiscing their past. It happens again in chapter 78(and probably -79). And Haesoo leaving at chapter 73, parallels to Haesoo leaving at chapter 57. And a lot more, I think.
Idk, kudos to the authors, I feel like I fell once more for this story<3.

- in the book he end with J
- in the reality H end with T
I still don't understand why he still thinking of J, for me it's was over for a while with him.

If I assume you made hypotheses that H will end up with J only in the book, because they're ending up irl is almost impossible? (in a sense), I mean with the obstacle with their parents and their fame/career, and because H still loves J. He'll make it in the book, but end up with T, as a sign that he really "loves J, but he's letting go"?.
But idk, how about H make he end up with T in the book, as in current relationship. But then he regrets it, and something happens with their parents and media, that he comes back to J?
I think either scenario could work xD BUT still think that the person H'll end up with in book and irl is the same.
H still thinks about J because he still can't get over him, I think. After having relationship for 10 years, one cannot (or impossible) to get over easily. It's understanable if H still thinks about J sometimes. BUT thinking about J while he's with T!! I think that's not right.
I'm tired with people fighting over to convince people to come to their ships, we can have different opinions after all ╮(￣▽￣)╭. Just here to dissect the story (literature hoe as well here!!).
