I've ever been in relationship with this guy. Not exactly relationship, because we never started it. But we did exactly like Joowon and Haesoo (although he's not my step-brother). We fooled around, we loved each other but never said it seriously, we emotionally hurted each other, we intentionally made each other jealous and enjoyed the satisfaction of getting little affection though jealousy FOR 11 years. He had several flings and me too, but we came back to each other. Though I felt sore when he held another women, he always treated me above them all, and I loved that. He thought that I'D ALWAYS COME back to him, and I thought so too. I could understand how exactly Haesoo felt, that "always coming back" thing was haunting as hell.
I always thought that what we had was love. He's my first love and I'm his, and I gave everything to him without tracing anything left. I'd always wanted to move out for that vicious circle, BUT IT WAS NOT AN EASY THING TO DO. I learned to love myself then and I let go of him. When Haesoo said that he didn't love Joowon enough to get through this, altho he might think he lied, but it contained truth a lot. I thought I will never be able to love again, but I CAN. Now, I have moved on from him for almost 3 years, though I'm still unable to get into new relationship.
So I'm very relieved for both Joowon and Haesoo in chapter 57. They were so brave to move out from their relationship (especially Haesoo), even tho it was super hard for them.
I don't know, I like both Haesoo and Jowoon individually, but I still felt unease if they'll come back together. The half of me think "In their scenario, they are meant to be. They're afraid to love because their circumtances. They should try and overcome their fear and love eo properly" but half of me feel like I don't want them to come back to that relationship (like I would never come back to my "ex"), they can still be brothers and love each other (like I'm still friend with my "ex").
Seriously being alone with myself for the moment is the best decision I made. And Haesoo should take his time a lot too.

Blondie called the son a “서자새끼.” This word goes way back to ye olden days, when titles and nobility were a thing. “서자” refers to the child of a noble x prostitute (/unofficial side chick). In context, blondie’s making fun of the son for being the offspring of the prestigious professor and some random woman who’s not even his wife. And this hits hard because the son is using his father’s prestige right now (!!) despite being a bastard child who hates his father. From blondie’s POV, he probably wanted to deliver something like, “Spill it, you arrogant POS, don’t act better than me, all you do is ride on your daddy’s coattails anyways.” Also, keep in mind that from the son’s POV, this is literally what he just punched the dude in the bathroom for... lolol. Double KO.
The son called blondie a “남창새끼.” “남창” refers to “male prostitute,” but it generally has a worse connotation than “prostitute” since it’s shameful for a man to take on a female’s role. And keep in mind that with Korea’s homophobia, even just “호모새끼” (homosexual bitch) is a pretty loaded curse. In context, this hits hard for blondie since 1) he hasn’t come out, 2) he’s been gang raped (and now someone is implying he’d sleep with any guy around the corner), and 3) the professor lowkey treats him like a side chick. From the son’s POV, he probably didn’t realize how hard this insult would hit. He probably just said it out of frustration, i.e., “I can’t believe you sleep with my dad of all people, you dirty bitch. I know you do and I’m going to hold it against you (even though I’m probably pissed off because you turn me on and I’m the one who’s actually weak to temptation)!” Which is why he apologizes pretty soon afterwards, lol.

Taku my boi ain't mature enough to truly understand Haesoo's current situation. It's not something that he can fix with a snap of a finger. He ain't no saint. He also needs to know love ya know? And perhaps, when Haesoo can love himself in turn maybe, juuuuust maybe he can also teach that to Taku my boi. Now for Jowoon, I really do prefer them separated because it's just too toxic since it deeply involves their both respective parents. He needs to find happiness but it's not Haesoo. Peace out!

yall may hate joowon all you want. they're all fcked up characters one way or another and he isnt the worst out of all but to say he didn't care abt haesoo or only saw him as a booty call yeah thats where yall wrong. whatever relationship joowon and haesoo had, it was always joowon who did the most to get their relationship going, to keep it alive, the only one staying true to his words that they should always come back to each other in the end while haesoo didnt give two shits abt it. evenwhile they both also dated other people while seeing each other still joowon prioritized haesoo out of all of them. joowon was always the one being affectionate, but haesoo always brushed him off and never took his words seriously, he always made everything joowon did or say into a joke. Joowon was always the one who made plans to meet up despite his busy schedule and he's a fcking actor, he has photoshoots, films drama and commercials every day back to back, yet he was the one who made time for both of them to meet, while haesoo never bothered and even asked him to not come to his house anymore as he wishes. Joowon was always the one buying haesoo stuff and gifting him things, for example the ring and the car. He's been looking out for haesoo and protecting him from haesoo's mom while she's has been nagging in his hear to leave haesoo and end their relationship. Joowon was the one who loved haesoo the most. He would literally drop everything to see haesoo if he didnt answer his calls bcs he's worried sth might happened to him. Joowon would literally give up everything (SPOILER: and he did. He told haesoo what if he gives up everything can they start over? And later he told his ceo he wants to quit his job) so they can start over the right way and to make haesoo stay. Yall been calling joowon all kinds of names, that he's toxic and possessive bcs he asked haesoo to make him his first priority but you all forget that joowon made haesoo HIS first priority. Even when they dated other people while seeing each other, joowon always came back to haesoo he was the one who stayed tru his words to the agreements of their relationship. And what did haesoo actually do in the relationship? What offers did he make? He's never considered joowon's feelings, he always turns everything joowon says into a joke, never takes him serious and he kept playing this back and forth jealous im not going to give in game. He breaks joowon's heart tells him he doesn't love him and he doesn't want joowon to cry? Does he expect that joowon should laugh? go on with his life after he just stepped on his heart and crushed it? The person who joowon has loved the most in his life? I just cannot see how many of you still think haesoo is the victim in this story and its all abt his happiness. Well what about joowon's happiness??? Does it not matter? Haesoo wasnt the only one affected by the damage his mom caused. He wasn't the only one who suffered. Joowon was also just teenager and he didn't commit any crime either. He also just fell in love man. but yeah sue him for that right.

One relationship lasted over 10 years and didn't move one bit. They were both toxic to each other and loved each other too much but didn't do anything in that matter.
And the other one with have the guy who wanted to observe some little, sick project of his. Play some strange game and observe two brothers as nothing more than lab mouses but meanwhile caught feelings and now he wants to build healthy relationship.
To be honest both options don't sound appealing to me.

If people actually bothered to see past this “exterior” Joowon puts up they’d realise that actually Joowon has always been infatuated with Haesoo, ever since their first interaction. But h+J were forced to get away from each other, they were teenagers scared of the consequences and of fighting back so they gave up. I feel like everyone tends to forgets that joowon, too was young+afraid of the consequences which was why in the heat of the moment he said “don’t fall for me because i won’t fall for you” to Haesoo. He said this to protect H from possibly destroying his relationship with his mom- i mean who knows best what it feels like to have no motherly figure in their life ? Joowon does. Whilst in his heart J knew he loved him but he was afraid to pursue anything.
i feel like Haesoo doesn’t even try to understand Joowon because he's stuck in his feelings of hurt and heartbreak so he cant see beyond that, he doesn’t know how his mother constantly threatens Joowon, he doesn’t know just how lonely J really is. Take a minute to think who does Joowon really have ? His dad; yeah well it doesn’t seem he cares much about J if Haesoo’s mum had to tell him they’re thinking of getting back together. Haesoo’s mom? even though he calls her mom, we all know she dislikes him and that little boy inside him is yearning for a mother’s love which is why he keeps insistently calling her "mom". His manager? who makes profit off of him ? does he have any friends ? not really. Min kyuri ? his co worker/ noona who he's only doing his job with. Lastly Haesoo ? who’s already showing signs of giving up and moving on.
Then we have Taku whos shown as innocent, persistent, someone who knows the right words and actions to use when he's with Haesoo, i mean he said so himself. Let's not forget Taku already knew things about Haesoo before Haesoo knew of him, which has defo got elements of power imbalance. Those are things to think about but everyone overlooks. Im not saying taku is bad, because god knows hes not. Just some thoughts.
What are your thoughts/ opinions ?

He never had anyone by his side since day one.
And the only person he loves now already moving on without explaining him a little shit.
But I really respect Haeso decision :)
He deserves a peace:))
up until this chapter, i still seeing Joowon as the most pitiful guy and the one i should caring about cuz he is just so.. Lonely.
With his double life.
And how I see Taku can get everything he wanted when Joowon just could holding back and still... Ppl around him just say to him to stop being immature and stay away from what he wanted which is means Haeso.
what Taku do with Haeso now literally was the things Joowon did from the past.
Holding hands, kiss and have sex, come to 'nurse' Haeso...
Meanwhile Joowon got a slapped for proctecting Haeso etc ppl still called him an asshole :) while Taku all accepted with all pleasure and got all the sweet thing supported.
Taku playing manipulated games mind. You couldnt see it if reading him in the surface level. You know how? Haeso always hesitated and contradict himself yet he always agree with whatever Taku said in the end.
Taku can got everything he wanted with Haeso with his gentle character and 'easy situations' :)
Then Joowon? :)
If this ended up with TxH, it would be the Most Not satisfying ending for me, cause the messages could just it wrong from the started, and even you look at how much HaesoxJoowon been in love, they still couldnt be together cause of the circumstance.... i should called it with a poor story moving on then :)
It always been Joowon wrong from the started, it always been Haeso being so hurt, It always been Taku got his thing so smoothly and easily :)
Then Joowon should just got his lil redempt with his emotions? Hm i don't think so.
He will get the best ending!
For me Haeso doesn't deserves J at all,
And Taku doesn't deserves Haeso. But yeah these two actually the same. So do whatever they do maybe.
Since both so selfish so they matched:)

And I'm like for real? Yeah Taku has some strong feelings for Haesoo but how can you even start comparing his broken heart to Joowon's? He knew Haesoo for how long? Weeks? Months? Joowon was in love with Haesoo for decade. It looks like he didn't love ANYONE beside Haesoo. You have to remember that Haesoo was not only his lover but also someone who always supported him, who helped him get over his bad, depressed times, he was his friend. It looks like he was his ONLY friend. We didn't see Joowon hanging out with anyone. Taking advice from anyone. It was always Haesoo, Haesoo and once again Haesoo. Is it healthy? It's not.
But I don't get how people talk lightly about Joowon's moving on and broken heart but act as if Taku's would be end of the world.
