Story is actually pretty great. They are making a poor adaptation with beautiful arts. The pacing is off in this as the little things are essential. For example, he didn't just free her out of nowhere. After the slap the empress said you should know how to protect something valuable (or such) which is where all this came from.

don't worry, it's coming. and its a WAY better ship than Arthur with Tess. The story gets really dark first, with the war and all... but the best ship is coming, even if it's really far away haha. OP MC with an OP FL. A match made in Heaven, or rather, Alacraya ...

He was just trying to be nice at let her down easily, but Tess wants a answer and art has made it pretty clear. Not only did he make it clear but even after knowing that she take advantage of him but she got angry at him. That’s why I hate Tess, also her personality it basic

Alacraya is the other continent that they are fighting a war against. Arthur gets stranded on the other continent after a big battle and that's where he meets her. Infinitely better than tess. Her name is Caera btw. they're 16/17 by then im pretty sure.
Oh! well i sure damn hope they get together in the end. Cause tess is just being THAT typical annoying fl.
