I think it's because artists try too hard to make their girls look petite and cutesy that they give them childish/immature personalities as well. So everything screams "this is a kid" regarding how they look, dress, and act.
There are plenty of short-stack women who you can tell are grown women IRL (of many races). But many manhwa,manhua,manga jump to making sugarpop girlies who look hella sus. We need REAL petite representation. Non-asian comics do it better
