King Thrushbeard was the title, I think? The princess was forced to marry a beggar (who was the king in disguise). I loved the animated version as a child and I'm finding this story quite likeable as well.

The main couple is interesting enough but I didn't skip a panel of the second couple which says a LOT. There's just something about pretty, manipulative, scummy characters being humbled and eventually ravaged by ripped, gorgeous nerds that make me go absolutely feral.

First few chapters were sloooow so i skipped them a bit and I hated the top when we first met him. He just seemed like such an asshole at first but boy was I wrong. I love him. I love them.
