Okay tmi but I was in this kind of relationship once…. I had a friend in high school (friends for about 4 years). He was like my best friend. Same situation we got silent sometimes then started talking again. Literally how they hooked up is what happened to me. One night things just took a twist I was at his place.we became friends with benefits and met up every week. But after so many hook ups I pulled a Pado and hooked up with someone else. He found out and blocked me even though we never talked about not hooking up with other people but should have talked about it. Reason why I did it?? Because I knew in my heart we would never date, he wasn’t someone I wanted to date and also didn’t have strong feelings for him (crush) and I also always thought he thought the same. I got this information from someone who read the novel and copied and pasted someone’s telling the entire story. So here you go. SPOILERS!! (This is the whole story in 3 paragraphs)

Dohyun was abandoned at eight years old and since then, has had the mindset of using others to excel. The first time he does this is through wooyeon’s mom, which is how they know each other in the first place. Wooyeon’s mom finds him an adoptive family and when he enters university, she asks him to tutor wooyeon.
Dohyun was very nice to wooyeon, and we later find out that he genuinely cared for him during their time together. dohyun was so used to being wanted on a superficial level, and wooyeon provided him a more authentic connection. this does lead him to leave for the military though, because at this point wooyeon is 14 and he is
Dohyun decides to approach their relationship differently this time around and it is when he figures out that his feelings for wooyeon are romantic that soohyang (wooyeon’s mom) calls him up and basically guilt-trips him into telling wooyeon the truth. here is where i think dohyun messed up. a
Dohyun doesn’t tell wooyeon the truth until they are together and have already had sex. it deeply hurts wooyeon (understandably) and then the rest of the novel is dohyun asking for forgiveness and them getting back together.”
Do we know the age difference and the grades they are in? Because isn’t the MC in college now? Because this has to be the same year as the first BL

It’s not the same year as Omega Complex. The current time happens AFTER the main story of Omega Complex. So Wooyeon is currently 20, and since Dohyun is four years older than him, Dohyun is 24. Omega Complex seems to have happened when Dohyun was around 18-20

Novel age confirms and mentions wooyeon (mc) as 20, multiple times, and confirms the age difference is four years. So Dohyun is 24. Doesn’t say anything about Korean age. Dohyun also stated he was 20 when they met.
In the 2 chap when Wooyeon was on the phone with his fiend and his fiend said “your only 18” and then wooyeon says “in Korean age I’m 20”. So I have no idea what that means lol.
In the entire novel they keep referring to him as 20, and Dohyun as 24. You can think of him as 18 if you want. But I guess if you want to stick it with Korean age, then they’re living in Korea and have the ages they personally have referred to themselves as.
When Dohyun and Wooyeon are talking about their ages, Wooyeon constantly says to him that he’s 20 now. They’re gonna keep referring to themselves as 20 and 24, but I guess you can think what age you want them to at this point lmfao.

Wooyeon states that he went to school in Korea from ages 14-16, a total of 3 years. Then if I remember correctly, he went to the U.S. for 4 years.
