i get sometimes waking up and thinking a dream was real for the first minute of waking up- which happens to me all the time- but i feel like i would go insane if i couldn’t differ my dreams from reality past like hours from waking up
I can relate. I once experienced that maybe it took me an hour to differentiate my dream from reality when I woke up. When I woke up I kept looking for a necklace thinking that someone entered our house and stole it. I even ask my mom about the necklace and she said I don't have such since I really don't like necklaces or accessories in general and that time I really don't have any necklace that I own. It made me so disoriented for one week everytime I woke up.
this one time i had a dream that my brother took my phone and thru it into the lake so then i woke up all mad and told my dad and i was trying to tel my dad what happened for like 30 minutes(this happened when i was like a preteen). then another time i took a nap after school and woke up at 6:30 pm but i thought it was am so then i kept trying to get my mom to take me to school and my friend even called me and i was like “i’m gonna be late to school” it was so embarrassing LOL
