I really cried reading your comment cuz I actually have fear of intimacy and worried about how I might live off my life alone without finding such a person. Even my family can't get close to me since they often disregard my opinion too that it made me don't want to open my heart and get close to them

no. you won't live your life alone.

because somewhere down the line, there will be that one person who will approach you, someone perhaps you'd least expect, just like it was here in this manhwa for our mc.
sure, it could be friendly gestures at first; a simple smile, a high five, a word of praise. someone who you get to know as a friend
or rather, it could be someone who you get wrapped into a situation with; acknowledgement with eye contact, feeling their presence in the room, circumstantial, entanglement, etc. someone who you aren't close to but at the same time someone you could be close to.
and gradually, it could evolve into more subtleties, with this person
such as walking in closer proximity, your hands grazing against one another.
or them remaining nearby when needed, giving you the utmost reassurance
or covering your head with a hover hand when its raining/too much sun, not so much as touching you but doing its best to shield you with all its might. them knowing your boundaries and where they lie
then it can eventually lead to more. a potential hug, a kiss evoking the emotion of 'liking another', and perhaps more. however much you'd permit this person, and however much they'd respect the lines you've drawn and the boundaries they shouldn't cross

point is, they're out there. and i know most people are either big on searching or not caring at all, but life finds a way. you'll meet them
and it's not a matter of ifs, buts or coulds, but just when.

i hope it all goes well for you, and you find someone that can truly respect you for who you are. and i also hope one day your family can learn to acknowledge and understand your opinions, so one day you can unravel your feelings to your hearts content.
