There isn't much information circulating aboit the Palestinian genocide in Asia, and Korea more specifically. This might just very well be a case of someone not being fully informed.

Also, all the population of Israel isn't to blame. The people in charge and helping in the killings are responsible. Blaming each and every Israeli just for their nationality is as logical as blaming all Germans in ww2. Nuance is important. (as long as the artist is fully aware of the wrong doings of their country and not participating in anyway)

Regarding Kyou simply not being informed was one of my thoughts too, I’m not going blindly on a hate rant I was just shocked.
Of course not every Israeli is guilty, but the specific artist that she mentioned is complacent with his government as seen by his posts on insta.
I wanted to comment just to hear if anyone else had seen it and hear thoughts, not to take heads.

there are demonstrations going on even in korea and other places like japan. even the politicians in korea condemn israel. i am tired of giving these ppl the benefit of the doubt when so many innocent children have died. though it might be that kyou is unaware of this musician being complicate, i think we should stop assuming places like korea are unaware of what’s going on in the world. if you haven’t heard abt the genocide, then you must live on mars.

It’s not between Asia and Israel. It’s between Israel and the Middle East. Gaza specifically.
I would recommend just researching about the history of Israel and the Gaza war, it’s probably better reading from a reliable source than me just infodumping.

I don't think we need to be crucifying someone for innocently sharing an artist they happen to like when they obviously don't mean that as an endorsement of something they are clearly not endorsing.

I thought the same about population of Israel but then i saw so many Tiktoks and interviews and the people in Israel actually thinks they are in the right in this genocide.They just don't care.

Anecdotical experience is not proof. Maybe the tik toker are only publishing things that reinforce what the public thinks, maybe your algorithm is putting you in an echo chamber of what you want to hear, maybe the Israeli civilians live in an extremely dangerous country that is proved to be able to commit genocide and are afraid to speak their minds.
You can see things and for them not to be accurate for numbers of reasons.

Maybe some of them feel justified in their genocide because they've been brainwashed since forever, maybe they just are narcissistic or even idiotic people. Yes, but please, social media is not proof.
