So Mother dies (but can be revived) later on in the story. He is not the first son of corruption.Whenever a son of corruption unlocks or collects 7th relic, a God appears from heaven and kills him. So, the mother of corruption has to start everything from the beginning. But this time she sacrificed herself, causing an imbalance in heaven and Earth and causing Gods to be unable to enter the bodies of priests for some time. MC distances himself from everyone for 5 years. After 5 yrs he meets with the mage again, she is against his methods of working ( although she still loves him / respects him.). She wants to prove that the path MC chose is wrong.

The Blue Haired girl is his master and they actually have a mother-son type relationship. So yeah they both love each other very much, but not romantically. And she is the strongest human easily.

The Mage has crush on the Priest and later she is quite open about it. Priest also likes her, though he tries not to love her romantically, since he fears of losing someone close to him. But I guess he develops some feelings for her.
Mother is well, her first and last complete sentence was "I Love You" to the Priest. I don't understand if he loves her romantically or not, but yeah he values her above anything. And keeps remembering her confession regularly. It's hard to comment.
One another unusual character for whom he got feelings that are more than "just friends" is Pearly, that pink haired psychopath whom he has encountered twice in the manhwa as of now. They both confessed to each other, though priest did not directly say that he loves her but it was heavily implied. Well he lost Pearly when they confessed to each other. On the same day his beloved master died. And to add to that Mother also died that day after confessing her feelings. So only the mage remains. (Added later after a couple of new chapters)- Pearly has returned now but have to reunite with priest, mother has returned to heavens ( or hell? ), cannot communicate with priest regularly like she used to do, but can be revived. There's no sign of master though, i think only she died.
Ik we’re all trying to figure out who was narrating in the first chapter, and some think it’s Shinpei but knowing his psychotic ass he probably k*lled himself the moment she died

This story is frustrating and we all think there’s a “right” way for this to go but I think that’s what’s so great about this story, it’s messy, complicated and basically lives in the grey area. people aren’t one dimensional and are constantly going back and forth. So if you’ve made it this far just enjoy it! Way too many people in the comments being homophobic and saying hateful shit about the boy being with “his kind” like do you not see what yall are writing……… if you’ve made it this far and are being hysterical in the comment section maybe you should reevaluate why this manga got you so heated and discover something about yourself
