The hate on psyche is getting ridiculous. Both are victims of abuse (physically and mentally) Medea was lucky enough to have nanny and heli as support while growing up in that toxic environment so it gave her an advantage + knows how to deal with shit getting thrown at her. Psyche literally had no one in the basement all shackled up when you think about it. Just be glad psyche is finally stepping up and the plot is moving forward even though the way Psyche is executing it is rubbing ppl the wrong way lmaoo
I agree that psyche had no support and she's pitiful because she had no one... But the reason why medea knew how to deal with problem is because she herself is smart, i mean moral support is important for her to go on, but the reason why she's smart and know what to do is because of her toxic environment itself that forced her to keep studying, while psyche's environment made her sheltered and clueless.. They both had their hard times, but despite being locked up psyche is also protected and it's obvious she never saw serious violence (seeing her reaction when duke belial hit the maid)... So medea is 'luckier' than psyche because her life is harsher
Psyche also wasn't forced to live up to any expectations, she just have to stay quiet in the basement, while medea was forced to fulfill his parents' demands to the point she got nosebleeds while studying as a kid... psyche's parents are also affectionate (compared to medea's parents i mean), yeah they're bad for lock her up all her life and forbid her to do anything, but they're affectionate while they talk to her, they're also worrying about her so much... medea's mother doesn't even want to talk to his daughter, and her father keep forcing her with his demands... Psyche's parents are no better, but they're much less harsher, and i think i still can see their love for their daughter, while medea's parents are just straight up heartless... Seeing both situations of them, they're both pitiful and medea deserves support in her harsher situation, so medea is not exactly luckier, like i said medea is 'luckier' because what she went through is harsher... We can also see that psyche's character development shows after she face harsh reality
