Women r the major target audience for BL mangas and yet they r the ones mostly portrait as bad characters..there r male homophobes in the world as well..give them a chance as well.
The lady who works with Matsu actually supported their relationship, the grandmother is supportive and nice and there were a fair amount of male jerks so far like the guy who outed Masaki as an omega at Hiromu's workplace, or Masaki's cousin. So overall it's actually balanced gender jerk demographics
Don't u think your just discriminating. You also know that there's fair amount of guys being homophobes in bl especially uke. Obviously such things won't be addressed all the time but it's quite understandable . And as for why u think girls are being portrayed like that . All I can think of is that we are currently reading a story about two guys so its natural to focus on other gender as a person who also reads Yuri I can relate that I focus more on guys which seems to be disencouraging the ml .and we all gotta admit no matter what gender people are trash ... For the story to progress they would obviously bring the girl in so that uke realizes that seme should have a complete family and shit ... It's common and it's not wrong or bad coz it shows that he genuinely care about his love now u can't just throw in a guy in that situation can you? The girls suddenly coming up to him who is like already confused about the matter of him and Matsuo’s relationship isn’t helped by the fact that these are girls who are probably born into a family with the mentality to “Marry someone who is of good status.” And Matsuoka fits the bill, especially since Alphas are still seen as like “top class people”. The girls were out of line to keep pushing Yukki like that, but I think what the author was trying to do was showcase how society is still kind of having this mentality and Yuuki’s internal struggling. It’s complicated.
