no I think yi yi helped a woman give birth who didn't want the child (?) but the child is not biologically related to yi yi and it is to the top (i don't remember his name)

as far as I understood it, He went overseas around 5 years ago and contacted a medical institution that helped get a surrogate mother to give birth to his child.

well that part hasn't been explained yet, but i would guess that there has been a mixup between yiyi's and the top's sperm or babies, or maybe the doctors intentionally fooled yiyi (though I don't see how that would benefit them).

If we take into account the birthmark and the eye colour it's pretty obvious that top is indeed the biological father but yiyi has been the one to raise him all those years.

it also seems like there has been a prophecy about ruoruo and him being special (maybe bc of those prophecy dreams he has?) and top's uncle seems intent on murdering top's family (maybe to become the new head of the family?) so top wants to have his son be by his side where he can protect him.
since he saw that ruoruo and yiyi won't be happy without the other he tries to make yiyi jobless so he will have to stay at top's home and watch over ruoruo (makes it easier to protect both)
