Your dog literally sounds adorable I'd say she gets anxiety around males which is common my mako feels the same sometimes. Mako she's an Elaborian Alaskan husky and a Dalmatian which is a weird but adorable breed just big dark floof with eyes and a tongue(▰˘◡˘▰). Uh, in this story, I'd say death or continued abuse or maybe even an ending where many get killed. MC obviously is trying her best so I also think MC clearing an ending would be the climax and would make the other men meaningless.

Dw. Penelope gets a happy ending, free from the abuse and neglect she endured in the duchy (though things will get more frustrating and hopeless before it gets better)

The ML is quite likable when you get to know him and Penelope doesn't mindlessly forgive her family (neither her old or new one) for being abusive towards her.

Umm, I don't know about anybody else, but I read the novel in one-go, and as the story goes on, it gets more and more depressing for me. Like, I know it's a happy ending, but I just feel for Penelope and everything she went through. I just want to hug her and tell her 'it's alright'.

Damn, this story is deviating from what I expected sksksk. I originally thought it would be almost like a harem and she will choose the ML near the end of the book. But now, it’s turning grim slowly, idk if I can take it, especially when I like all the characters too much. Idk about winter (lol the bunny guy, i forgot his name) but eclise from what I read deserves far better. I don’t hate the crown prince from the beginning, his charcater is actually interesting, and I kinda expect him to be the ML as a hunch from my reading experience lol

I wouldn't necessarily say that Ecliss deserves better. He had a twisted view of love, and at times I do feel sorry for him but then that would dismiss the harm he's done. Well, every reader is free to have their own opinions on the character.
