Perralt is a good written character but his PoV is not enough to justify that he truly likes Vasser... I guess he likes her out of respect since she tried protecting Kyte... He knows Kyte's character from the beginning that is why He continued to root for him as future emperor.... Anyway since in this story there are 2 books about two princes and they already claimed on the beginning that Kyte is future emperor to be just dragging that scenario into this last story.... Surely the 2 prince are just side characters of the anthology created by the author... The hardship she made for him.is to make him strong so that he can shine on the last book...
