I kept trying to understand who Iseon is and tbh he reminds me of Katniss (yes from the hunger games) she was the same in the manner that she loved Peeta. It also wasn’t butterflies and fireworks for her but Peeta is the love of her life fml. I love Iseon and Hyundo so this sucks. And they’re both gorgeous lmao

So i went to the official korean version and read ahead. Looks like mc confesses and the ml rejects him. And so to get over him the mc begins avoiding him. The ml gets mad bc he’s like wtf we’re friends, don’t avoid me. And the mc says he’s seeing someone and thinks it’d be inconsiderate to them for him to be hanging out with a former fuck buddy. The ml gets mad and it starts an argument. Looks like he’s upset, and the mc gets upset too bc he wants to move on from him in his own way.

Yea no at one point the ml tells the mc that “so what if you’re seeing someone? Why would you cut me off? You’ll break up anyways. We’ll see each other for longer.” Basically saying that he’ll always be a part of his life whereas whoever this guy that the mc is dating won’t last long (the said guy doesn’t even exist ㅠㅠ. The mc just made it up bc the ml keeps being so clingy and he doesn’t realize it. He literally went to the mc’s job bc he wasn’t responding enough, even though the mc told him that he was busy with work. And he was. Poor mc only got like 2 hrs of sleep and he got assigned something huge at work that’s good for his career. And here comes the ml being like “give me attention”.

Okay I will leave some spoiler here and some of my understanding about the story.
Haewon still end up with Haeyoung (His crush and the one who always abuse him!) Haewon escape a lot of times but still end up getting caught. Haewon's greatest escape is when he tried to kill himself... (Not sure, I think he jump on the clip) Taegyeom and Hyunwoo (the other guys) thought that Hyunwoo died and then Haeyoung won't accept it.
But Haewon is alive and was save on the country side. Kitae is the one who help him. Kitae want Haewon to be treated on Hospital but Haewon refuse. Time by time Haewon's injuries and wounds are healing. I guess he hide in the country side for more than a year.
But well... Haeyoung still found him... He pays people to find Haewon... In that arc, I guess Haeyoung became a drug user.. not sure because I only read MTL..
Then he caught Haewon and still repeat the cycle of abusing and raping him until his healing body is severely injured again. Haewon eyesight and hearing became so bad that he needs to use earing aid because he can't hear properly anymore.
Haewon with Haeyoung's side, made him so depress, meanwhile the other two, Taegyeom and Hyunwoo was out of the pictures...
In this arc... It was mainly focus on Haeyoung and Haewon.
Haewon tried to killed himself because of depression. He lost his appetite, he vomits blood and he had a lot of wounds and bruised... And yes of course I think Haeyoung was finally having a knock on his mind that Haewon finally needs to be save.
Duhhh... Haeyoung realize that Haewon needs treatment because it was obvious that he is dying by abuse and depression, but by the way he stop hurting him that time.
He treated Haewon, they seek for psychiatrist to help Haewon with his depression. (but I also want Haeyoung to try having one because he also needs it but it didn't happen tho.)
It was a very long time of treatment for Haewon because he is always having a seizure about the abused he experienced and Haeyoung stays by his side all the time because he is obsesss freak.
Haewon really wants to forget and escape away from Haeyoung but Haeyoung wont let him... He is obsesss!
Timeskip... Haeyoung became a professor and Haewon recovered but still has this feeling of terror. Of course they were living in a one roof and declared themselves as a lover, and Haewon doesn't have a choice about that, because he still dependent to Haeyoung. Haeyoung made him like that.
Although the abuse like hurting Haewon is not present anymore in their lovey dovey as a lover arc, Haewon still feels the terror. Of course its difficult to forget the past.
Yes Haeyoung change he doesn't hurt Haewon physically anymore, he treats him better now and he controls himself now when he gets jealous but you know what, he is a manipulator because Haewon never had a chance to escape and forget him.
At the end they were together. And for me it was obvious that Haewon develop a Stockholm Syndrome.. although he can live with his own his mind and his heart are not independent, he was owned by Haeyoung until the end.
Haewon can't never forget his past, he just accepted his destiny, because no matter how hard he escape, Haeyoung will find him.
In final arc, Haeyoung don't abuse Haewon anymore because he wants to redeem himself and live with him forever.

WOW. Who tf sat down…wrote this story… and said- “Yep. This is great. I must share it with the world”

Yea i barely found it on ig bc I saw a cute pic. But the comments were warning people not to find it bc it’s shitty. I couldn’t help myself though, found it here and skimmed thru it. Then when I saw it wasn’t completed and had a novel- i had to find out the ending for my sanity. I won’t be wasting time reading it either.
I really loved this manhwa, but there was a lot of things that felt unfulfilled. There was no character development for Jiu’s mom, we don’t see Jihan and Hayul’s relation properly develop, the letters that Hajun wrote for Jiu during the time she was abroad is never brought up again?? The two Wurin archs were so unnecessary, one was enough. And tbh, I feel like they definitely could have reconciled as friends again. They were best friends for 22 yrs and boyfriend and girlfriend for like 6 months or less really. And the most they did was kiss, not even make out… lmao. I did want him to truly find his own person. We also don’t ever see the letter Hajun wrote when he was trying to apologize to Jiu for not telling her about Wurin’s blackmail.
I’m hoping some day some special episodes come out tbh. This is the author’s first work so it’s understandable that they rushed certain things. I just feel robbed from not seeing Hajun’s reaction to Jiu getting pregnant especially when he was so elated after he thought she was pregnant before they got married and it turned out was a misunderstanding. I also hoped to see the world find out that Hajun is married to Jiu, since she’s technically a public figure as well - being in the fashion industry and all. And omg it really pissed me off how the CEO just faced no repercussions after meddling like that in Hajun’s life. She was just as bad as Wurin imo. Going back to Hayul, really loved her and found Robin/Jihan so cute for her. But I hope to see her at least give him a kiss or something. It was kinda painful to see her not even care to kiss him after dating for 3 years!! And then in the epilogue it looks like it’s been at least another 5 years, so that’s 8 years. And her and Jihan still look like they’re frozen in the same stage in their relationship. Idk maybe this is just me thinking about all this. I just finished it and i still love the story, it just makes me sad not knowing the answers to some of these things. It feels incomplete. Looking forward to the author’s future works though. Side note- there was a total of 4 time jumps. First 5-6 years, when Jiu goes from being 16 to 22 and Hajun goes from being 11 to 17. Second- 5 years, Jiu goes from 22 to 27 and Hajun from 17 to 22. Third, 3 years, Jiu goes from 27 to 30 and Hajun from 22 to 25. Lastly, the final time jump in the epilogue isn’t revealed but based on how old their kids look (hangyeom looks about 5-7 and jiho about 2-4) I think it was a 5-6 year time skip again. So Jiu went from 30 to 35 and Hajun from 25 to 30.
