Idk why the some find this confusing, the story us really good, it kinda focuses more on the characters, doujin can be very dramatic too, not just some sex relationship between the characters.
For me it was how deku see their relationship, it's like a start of a romance kind of feeling, they are not completely aware of it but they are conscious of each other. It goes on a very drama type of plot, it is quite hard to understand even to explain it, i suggest another read fo some people who are confused :)) it's really good >< things like these should be noticed more
