I've read several red flag top stories and tbh I wasn't surprised how much of an asshole the top is.
But after the top fell in love with him especially in the ss2, I like the development. The top went from "I want to imprint you and lock you up" to "This time, you can forget and it's my turn to remember" like dangggg he has progressed A LOT. Some of y'all might say, no it's not enough and blah blah blah but I think it's a good redemption arc (compared to other stories I've read). He was sooo desperate when the bottom was gone and even more desperate when he found out the truth. The revelation is so good. And he became even more desperate when they met again and the bottom gave him a cold shoulder, not enough, even more desperate when he thought the bottom was pregnant with another alpha. I think he deserved enough. I love this development. I didn't expect it to be this beautiful since I've read worst. I'm glad they made up and now have two beautiful babies.
Come to think of it, it's all because of the bottom's dad but we can't blame him since he cared for his son. Like, who would let your own son to risk his life for another guy? He can't let him marry into such a house. Not to mention how much of an ass the top was in the beginning. At least he's a better man now
