He used psychology to groom Wooseo (not the child grooming one but the type to lure animals to come to you first). He knew he can be assertive but he chose not to. But with all his efforts, yes, he does deserve Wooseo. The man originally tried to give up until he learned he has a trump card in his hands (the ring).
