well the way i think it is how it is portrayed in the story. many times fictional rape is very sexualized and 9 times out of 10 its a shitty plot with stockholm syndrome and the victim turns to love their rapist. but in real life its a LOT more complicated than that.

Usually, it feels empty to see the end of a series. I don't feel it here. The ending was earned, each step calculated, served up in nice portions. I don't feel sad, I just feel like I've eaten from a large feast, with the memories of my "first time reading it" weighing heavy in my mind. I will never enjoy it for the first time ever again, but I have enjoyed every step of the way.
I mean, this type of people exist in every genre, lol. It's nothing new at all. BL fans aren't really any different in that regard. The kind of "supremacist" type of people who want to establish the genre they like as more "better" or "superior". Seen that a million times over in other fandoms as well, most notably shounen fans.
