Fam, as someone who has multiple family members who are autistic and has seen their interactions with others on the daily, it seems like he doesn’t quite understand the nuances of emotions of other people, he keeps to himself, seems very particular about certain things, comes off “rude” when he’s not bc he’s just blatantly honest, tact seems obscure to him, has single minded focus on one thing that interests him and cares little to nothing for anything else, etc. It’s not a far fetched question or assumption that he’s on the spectrum. Nowhere near the example you provided tbh. It’s a valid question. Yes, it is his personality, but autism literally shapes personality.
I'm not saying you're wrong. He might actually be autistic but can't he also just be an awkward guy who doesn't really know how to express himself? There's so many manga/hwa/hua out there who depict characters the same way. Should they all be autistic then? I just dont like when ppl automatically put a character in a certain label I've seen it too many times now.
