the plot is not on a tier of S list but bruh, the tears i cried over the time she actually jumped and the time she was generally confused with what she should do with her life. it was really close to home for me that i had to take a moment to relax and continue reading.

as for the ml, i think it is indeed Aiden but i'm with Lucas. i don't agree with Aaron not wanting Selena to end up with him just bc he has a story behind him. i'm not saying Aiden is bad for her but tbh, all she does in this season is defend him like he's a damsel in distress and she's his knight in shining armor. the only time he did rescue her was that time in the clock tower in which Lucas had been telling him multiple times to be attentive of and never let her near it but guess what? he almost didn't make it.

if the author wants Lucas to be forever the 2nd lead, pls do make a story where he is the ml. he deserves his own happiness. he's been heartbroken too much

i know it's definitely kouya who'll be the end game but irl as a woman near the "expiration date" i'd choose tatsuo. yeah he is dry most of the time but the assurance man, he's giving you 100 and nothing in between. it might seem like he's not into the relationship at first but hey, ur seeing this in asahi's pov. she has been through A LOT. and jumping in a relationship with a guy she has admired for so long and built camaraderie for work again for so long would be so awkward at first.
